Select A Child at the Jim Smith School in El Rosario
If you would like to sponsor a child there are several choices you can make. If you would like us to select a child for you, just click the sponsorship form link below, fill out it out and submit it. If you would like to select your own unsponsored child, please look through the pictures on this page. You can find the student you want to sponsor, remember their number, then go to the sponsorship form and enter the student's number in the
appropriate box. That is all there is to it.
We will make every attempt to keep this page updated as children are sponsored. Occasionally it is possible that a child may be sponsored before
the page is updated. If that is the case, we will e-mail you asking you for a second choice.
All of the unsponsored students on this page attend the Jim Smith School in El Rosario (near San Juan de la Maguana, Dominican Republic).
About the Jim Smith School:
The Jim Smith School in El Rosario was built in the 1980's in a small town about 15 miles from San Juan. The school is an arm of a small church in that town. There have been several organizations who have tried to help sponsor the school. Through the years the support has dwindled and the school has operated with teachers and administrators who have donated their services. Basically the school has operated without any money for the last several years.
Solid Rock Missions has made a commitment to help them raise support so the school can really serve the people in their community.
