Update from the Dominican Republic

We have received many calls and e-mails the last two days asking for information about the disaster in Haiti and if it affected San Juan at all. I am happy to report that there has been no real damage in the Dominican Republic or to any of the ministries that we work with there, and that the Solid Rock Missions groups that are currently in the Dominican Republic are safe and doing well.

However, we expect that there will soon be a huge influx of Haitians coming across the border, looking for aid. The Solid Rock Missions groups currently there are assessing the situation to see what can be done from the Dominican side. We will keep you informed as we learn more and will let you know how you can help.

Thank you for your prayers and concerns, and please continue to pray for the Haitian people.
